Both are from high quality and made by hand in the traditional way, with a lot of prayers and pure intentions, no machine are involved. Shipping the cacao is also done in the traditional way, by horse and carriage from the jungle to the mainland. Our friends from this community are the best in cacao preservation. They know how to harvest the cacao at the right time, without harming other forms of life.
Cacao ceremonies can be held in different styles, for example with meditation, dancing, sharing, singing or an indigenous soundhealing.

The name “cacao” comes from Theobroma cacao (its scientific name), which means “food of the gods”. However, he is not considered sacred only by the symbolism of the term that names him. The Aztec, Inca and Mayan civilizations believed that this plant was medicinal, as it provided energy and well-being when ingested.
